A Community Partner Program. For Adults. Registration required.

Meet author Maurice Switzer at the Tecumseh Branch on Friday, September 25 at 1:00 p.m. for a reading from his acclaimed book Sons of Tecumseh, followed by an engaging discussion about the book.  The book is fiction rooted in fact, deeply researched, and highly educational.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Maurice Switzer is a citizen of the Mississaugas of Alderville First Nation in southern Ontario, where his grandfather served as Chief in the early 20th century.

Throughout his distinguished career, Maurice has served as Publisher of the Winnipeg Free Press, Communications Director for both the Assembly of First Nations and the Anishinabek Nation, an appointee to the Ontario Human Rights Commission, and an Adjunct Professor of Indigenous Studies and Communications at Laurentian University.
