Turn that old sweater that's been hanging in the back of your closet into an autumnal statement piece! Sewing time will be available Oct 14th - 21st.

How it works:

Bring in a spare or thrifted sweater you would not mind cutting up, preferably a size large. Everyone at the swap will cut off pieces of their own sweater, and trade them around until everyone can sew together a full sweater again. Embellish with appliques and autumnal fabric pieces to create a cozy sweater perfect for fall! 

The sewing machines will be available for use in the branch for one week after the night of the program, giving you plenty of time to work on your project without any rush. If you need extra time to sew, staff can book you in for some dedicated sewing time with our machines.
