Come join us on a “visual voyage” to three iconic canal cities of Europe guided by guest speaker Antoinette Pecaski.  Through stunning photographs we’ll explore their unique beauty, their unparalleled history, and the incredible ingenuity of earlier civilizations.

AMSTERDAM--Transformed from a soggy swampland to a major city, it is renowned for its historical attractions, the Golden Age of Dutch Masters, and its modern-day culture of tolerance. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

VENICE—A city born 1600 years ago out of a need for survival, and created out of wood, water, and mud. A “floating city” sitting on top of a “forest”, its architectural beauty and permanence are a testament to human determination and creativity. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

BRUGES—Its historic centre is famous for its well-preserved medieval architecture, canals, and cobblestone streets. Once impoverished and fading in importance, it is now considered to be the most beautiful city in Europe. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.
